If everyone is so dissatisfied with the imbalance of the jets or crappy hit detection or whatever, why then could someone not make the necessary modifications and then submit them to EA/DICE/whoever for review/implementation? I'm sure that there are some modders out there that know what's going on or at least have the time to figure it out, so what's to stop them from fixing the problems themselves if it's not cost effective to hire some people to do it? I don't know the specific details of all of these problems but I'm certainly going to take a look to see if they can be resolved without the source code.
Maybe some outside help to get BF2 right?

I too was looking up to the modders. I have no idea why they havent even tried this. I always assumed modders are people who liked to experiment with little things.Originally posted by ChaelIf everyone is so dissatisfied with the imbalance of the jets or crappy hit detection or whatever, why then could someone not make the necessary modifications and then submit them to EA/DICE/whoever for review/implementation?
