What happened?

Okay so I was on OMAN and was in an APC after caping the flag at the hotel (beside the garage) anyway, I came down and engaged a Tank, not the best idea, but I had an SRAW so I was feeling lucky. So I fire my missile into him then he shoots me, then hits me again before the next missile can reload, its on flames so I dive out, it blows up, he is in the Tank and requires 2 SRAW's to be taken out, so I fire the first one into him and he misses me, I dodge his fire again and fire the next SRAW into him displayed on A. I then ran down the hill and jumped then all of a sudden I had no weapon and it changed to just my hands displayed in B. So I managed to change back to a weapon easy enough but I was running around like that, what happened?

Well a friend said that usually happens on 'hacked' servers, when the admin is cheating or whatever. Not sure though, its weird though. It's as if my players holding the SRAW but its actually not there.

yeah ive had this actually a few times i just gathered it was another glitch in the bf2 game lol

I'm pretty sure its there, just invisible.

I found a place on Karkand where if you stand right in front of this one door any weapon you're holding is invisible.

If you wanna try it out go to the cement factory and jump off the top of the roof onto that little walkway that is otherwise inaccessible.

Its happened to me where ive had a totally "invisible weapon". Can see my ammo, but no hands, no gun, nothing. HAven't tried firing in those conditions though.
