I get 2 unlocks, so can I unlock these consecutively?
    Yes, and yes.

There is, but only if you buy the Special Forces expansion pack - it's not a bad deal for $25 since you get a lot of content and new features. To unlock the second tier unlocks you must first unlock the first tier ones, though. So for example, the Spec Ops kit has 2 unlocks - the G36C and the SCAR-L - in order to unlock the SCAR-L you must first unlock the G36C.

You can also get somebody to log in to your account and play a round of Special Forces so you can get the unlocks.

Thanks for the welcome guys, good to be here.

So wait...there's unlocks past these unlocks? Didn't see that in my research, lol. The L96 is the Special Forces sniper rifle, isn't it?

Also, you can always check out the UBAR (Unofficial Battlefield 2 Awards and Ranks Guide) for any information on kits, armies, weapons, awards and unlocks.

The M95 is alright, not as accurate as the M24, partly due to the crosshair being very thick, therefore your not 100% sure where your aiming.

Personally I unlocked the M95 just for the L96 which is my favorite sniper rifle. However the G36C is a great weapon for Spec Ops I'd consider getting the G36C I'd consider getting that at the moment and maybe the M95 at a later stage.

Some will claim that the L85 (medic) is a good gun, personally I hate it, it’s inaccurate, bad in CQC and has the most annoying noise ever. Although many swear by that thing.

The G3 (assault) is a beast, smaller size magazine 20 rounds but packs a punch and is an awesome weapon when you get used to it. I've been using it over the last ~35 hours of my playing, great stopping power.

    First off,

Welcome to TotalBF2 and the BF2 community !

    As per your question..

The best all around unlock (in my opinion) would be the G36C for the Spec Ops kit. It is incredibly accurate in both single shot and fully automatic firing. It's incredibly accurate, although it lacks the red dot sight included with the M4 and AK-74U.

I'd go for the G36C if I were you.

But that's just based on your brief post and introduction.

    Welcome :hi:

    Unlock thread

So I tried searching the forum, but couldn't come up with anything. The keywords brought up too many threads. Plus, the ones I DID find didn't have anything to do with my situation.

My main classes would probably be SpecOps and Sniper, so obviously I was looking at the G36C and M95.

But I also want a good gun. I don't care if I have to be Engineer (no offense, but I hardly ever choose it), if I have a good gun, I'm set.

The M95 is something that's really bugging me. I've heard that it's no better than the M24, except that it can shoot through glass. If that's all, then big deal, I won't be doing that anyway. I might go for something else and just ignore the sniper rifle if that's the case.

Anyway, I'm looking for weapons that are 1.) Accurate and 2.) Damaging.

A friend recommened T-BF2 to me. "They probably know everything." I just started playing, but you guys have over a year of experience behind you, so ...help please? :)
