I agree - 30 000 points until the next rank is a little too extreme.. a new rank would be nice.

Its starting to get a little bit easier, as I am getting more points when I play. But it is still taking forever!!!

Congrats.. You can make 50k mate, just got to keep plugging away at it. When I first got BF2, 20k seemed like a mountain to climb, then when I made it, 50k seemed even harder... but 3 months later and I'm less than 100 points away :)
