Yes he is. CDN-SMOKEJUMPER got scared off by Planewhore.

I would have loved to have seen that video...

Re: Why I own J-10's, in an F-35.

Hmmm, well I am in Amsterdam and I haven't backed out of anything. I have a life other than BF2 and want two fights one private for learning and one in a full server where I can use map features to my advantage including teamwork. This started because I said tactics can bring down skilled J-10's and I am still adamant that this is true. We all know that the J-10 is better which is why I want two matches as I have a feeling the first will not go well.

Furthermore Planewhore hasn't been around either which leaves me with the belief that he too has a real life.

Currently it is 13:30 in Amsterdam and I get off in 5 hours which means after the things I must get done tonight I'll be ready for a go in 8 hours.

If you want to prove me wrong feel free, my clans website is www.arseclan.com and am willing to take anyone on who posts in our forums and we can arrange something. I'll be in my server tonight from 19:30 UK time onwards.

My next excuse for time related difficulties will be my move to Australia in 4 months as I've been travelling for almost 3 years.

You want to see if I'm full of it, I left enough details that I can be found.

Xfire is cdnsmokejumper, I'll have a go with anyone who takes the time to come looking.

How is it bs? There are mics you know and many stinger points on a map that can help get a J-10 off you, there are two Essex guns and hey even other guys on your team who can help in another jet.

It's called tactics which is how I prevail against a superior aircraft.

Hey noob, don't drop you flares right away and use rear view to see when missles are launched. When you actually see missles heading your way flares get dropped not before. Also barrel roll, not aileron but barrel, missles just go all around and can't react like that. To do a barrel roll take the stick and pull it to a bottom corner, viola they missed.

If I was chasing you, you'd be an easy kill and this is why. I'm right on your *** in bomb mode and I switch to missles but do not fire I then wait for you to drop flares and I don't have to wait long. I then switch back to bomb mode, now you think you lost me and fly nice and straight at which time I unload guns at you and switch to missles and know just two off as you've no flares and are going straight, bye bye. Sometimes you make it real easy and slow down for a gun run on a chopper and I don't even switch to missles and I pwn you with guns in an F-35 on Wake. Go me.
This is where it started. Note that PW didnt provoke anything. You had a loud mouth, and youve been silenced, without a fight. You backed off once, and Im sure youll do it again.

This has nothing to do with what you do in real life, because you picked a fight. "I have a life so I dont have time" excuses dont hold much water, especially when were talking about a 10 minute max fight.

Sorry OT, but where can I find you guys? Which servers?

Have read a couple of threads now, and I am a bit impressed of some of your guys knowledge. Maybe specially Chris_Redfield. Then ofcourse PW, Colony and Metallica.

If you dont look at me as a smokejumper, I would gladily take any challenge at any time. Though, I still agree that the F-35 has to have a crappier pilot in the J10, anyway, I also count time of survival, and times of escape

My conclusion to the F-35 vs J10 is that it works properly on servers allowing baserape, and double amout of difficulty on servers that doesnt.

Smokejumper: Visit TV2-servers to have a fight if you want to, any day. I dont botter RL, so you will find me there.

Ah the thread where he was being an egotistic no it all? I don't even mind that you posted that again as quite simply knocking down J-10's isn't impossible not even against a good pilot if you use tactics which flaming and yelling aside is what I said and I'll stand by it.

Oh and he challenged me at the same time so I didn't pick a fight we agreed to it.

Edit// How have I backed down if I'm still posting in the thread stating why I've not had the time and have gone so far as to where I can be found if anyone is up for it??

Hes ALWAYS egoistic. PlaneWhore is the EgoWhore. Hes fun to argue with because he actually is intelligent and experienced to back his ego up. And he almost never goes personal, unless you opened "fire" on him first. Which you actually did. He proposed a challenge to prove you wrong. You bailed. Your methods are the same ones people have been using since last year. Nothing groundbreaking. Yet you insist that they work. I check my six every 5-10 seconds, so does every respectable pilot. It doesnt work on them.

Shorly, where do you play? I´ll come by and catch a game with you. I fvcked up my game files so I have to reinstall the game again, repatch it and then Im ready to go.

There is a slim bit of truth in your orignal post, you can catch a skilled J10 pilot on a full server.

Regardless of your view on Planewhore's ego trying to prove a point against one of the best pilots around flying a J10 is not going to be good for your health or your point.

For the record this is my first post in this thread.

However, some pilots are not idiots and start bobbing and weaving. You can tell if he knows what he's doing because he keeps running even though I'm in bomb mode and his warning lights aren't going off. In this case I will break off as he'll beat me in a turning fight so I go to 700ft and head to where you are about to rearm or repair as I most likely hit you with guns and possibly one missle. I stay inverted to see better roll out when I spot you rince and repeat. This tactic works and has turned the F-35 into a favoured A/C for me as it's also an exceptional ground attack fighter.

Hmmm, I even say to split if the J-10 is gaining the upper hand. I posted this as yeah people have figured it out but not everyone and they still work. I check my six all the time as well and this helps and if the J-10 does that you can tell so I break off away from him and try and jump him again later.

www.arseclan.com I'm almost always there as I help pay for it so I use it. No sense in wasting money.

But, what if I win? At least I will try which is exactly why I get better and better. I used to get blown out of the sky endlessly but I didn't disconnect, scream hack or ask for the J-10 to be nerfed. I thought of ways to bring it down or set him up for someone else to get him so I can make sure he doesn't take off again.

This is true but even if no one chooses to believe me I had important things to do. I hope we can meet up at the very least just to say I did it.

Well first off you won't win jeez I'm hardly a superhero fighter pilot but I don't think there is a pilot that would happily claim to be able to own me in a F35 whilst I'm flying a J10.

You are trying to go up against not just another muppet here but one of the best in the world.

After it's done no one is going to say 'Oh fair play he tried' but they're all going to watch the vid and laugh at you.

I would suggest the tactics you started the topic with would work against a moderatly skilled pilot who's been on the server for a few rounds and is flying the J10 half asleep, safe in the knowledge that there isn't a F35 pilot that's even remotely close to being able to threaten.

The first time you catch him you just might scrape a kill, after the second time he'll spend the entire round pounding you. The best you can hope for is you can throw him off the scent and leaving every one else but you on the server alone.

In order to prove your point your trying to take on one of the best and starting a game with him wide awake and on full alert as to what your going to try to do.

I'll say again, what if I win? No one gets bragging rights by winning easily now do they??

If I lose who cares? No one actually knows me and I know which side the odds are stacked but you don't get better by playing easy and I know I've shot down skilled pilots as they where not your run of the mill fly in a straight line pilots.

Edit/// I need to take a breath sometimes,.

Re: Why I own J-10's, in an F-35.

Reason I'm no longer wasting my time pursuing this is I think I've made my point as SMOKEJUMPER has backed down from his original "You noob barrel roll an dodge J-10 missiles!" and adopted a much more sane "Well I'm going to die but maybe someone will learn something from it" stance. Again - i'm not going to sit around waiting for another five hours just for a chance to prove what everybody in this thread (even you) already knows. The video would've been nothing but a form of public humiliation unfortunatly when the other person accepts defeat before the match even occurs humiliation is no longer possible.

Let's face it - the J-10 is overpowered no matter how you slice it, and in a more broad sense the A2A missiles are unbalanced and overpowered for the amount of user input required. DICE has accepted this fact, virtually EVERY player in Battlefield has accepted this fact and the only players who continue to defend the J-10 are those who enjoy whoring it. I figure it's cased closed.

And SMOKEJUMPER please don't say "What if I win??" anymore. The only way you'd ever have a chance at winning is if you had a J-10. I'm willing to accept that so why can't you? That isn't to say the F-35B isn't a good jet because I just got off a server after going 92-0 on a round of Gulf of Oman with half the server screaming at me calling me a hacker. But add a couple J-10s to Oman with competent pilots who got in the air the same time as me and I'd most likely have to bail or die more than a couple times during the duration of the round. The only chance I'd ever stand against the J-10 is hope I get a lucky cannon kill or they crash and camp them the rest of the round but that's really a faulty bit of logic because the J-10 could do the same exact thing plus retain all the additional bonuses of that particular aircraft.
