Why are they at their spawns, shoudlnt they be in the field fighting? When infantry is being killed at their spawn, they have chosen the wrog place to seek cover from.

I asked for in game help. PERIOD! I didnt ask for a book. Next time should I ask. Can you teach me how to do a barrel roll, shoot missiles, switch modes, lock on, use fllares, avoid enemies, etc.... i just wanted basic info and perhaps someone willing to help me out in game.

You know, this is SO GENERAL, and information touching this subject is in huge quantities. What you need to do is use search and write simple words in-

"jet guide" "plane guide" "aviation guide", then take it next step further "barrel roll how" "bomb how" "dogfight how". You understand? Usually you have to ask help when your methods have been depleted. Not just for the sake of it. I know a lot of people like to help people, believe it or not I like too. But I also like to see some initiative, it makes me more motivated to help you when I see that youre genuinely in trouble. YOU, in this case are NOT YET in trouble, which is why I wouldnt help you. And because youve shown lack of initiative and want people to help you, I show dislike.

And by the way I did right a book for newbies... on infantry. Battlefield 2 Bottom Line. SO dont tell me that I wouldnt willingly help someone else. And yes you do have a big ego: hostile posts, boasts, and arrogant commenting.

Exactly. When youre specific, you show interest, that you indeed are interested in help, genuinely. Im motivated to help you and I know exactly how, in that case. You just asked for help "how to fly" and I gave you a general answer- "practice". In a way I helped you, but its not enough, is it? You want a big book of details. Well, here it is- Its called "search". When I joined, I used the huge pile of knowledge these forums have, in the search form. And its truely amazing what one could find here.

Then I decided to defend myself and clarify my message. Was that wrong as well? Now that you knowwhere I am coming from, perhaps you can make a reasonable post in answer that I an read and reply to without needing to provide an arguement?

If you want help. Post up specific problems. If you are unsure what you need, then get some jet hours and figure it out. Until then, theres "Oakenfolds Plane Guide" and "how to bomb" for you to search.

Yes, even though my infantry (taking Assault class in particular) KDR is ~1:1, pathetic, I love infantry combat. Thing is, I like to fly the jets in BF2, and I dont see a problem in this.

F35 is way too fast, and unless its caught without its flares at first engagement, it will be a ***** to take down with a Su34.

Lock range on jets is still long enough. F35B can spee dup only thanks t its ABs. Its normal speed on normal altitude is still comparable to Su-34. If theres a lock on F35B and it engages the ABs, theres still enogh time to have a lock. If the pilot is good enough, and F35B pilot doesnt do the right thing, a lock will be created.

I was not asking for a book I was asking for in game help and the PM that Sir. Blades said he had given to a newbie pilot to help them. common misconception

No, its quite common that it does happen. F35B can easily break the lock if they dont play the Sus game and go way in front. To escape the Su, a sharp turn, almost a full loop is enough. However, under certain circumstances the Su can actually have a shot at the F35B, and another one at the flares. Note that Im not saying that F35B is a worse dogfighter than the Su. When you agreed that F35B success against Su lies in the first turn in the engagement, well, Sus missiles connect better anyway, and it can hold the lock a little more. Note that F35Bs flares go "downwards" so the cover from the flares is short.

The best advice is to haul your *** to a local server and get a feel for the jets. Best method is bombing practice since its the best method to get intuitive control over the jets (IN TIME). You think people became good after reading something? Hell no! Additional knowledge is required if people face a problem, where extra playtime will not increase their efficiency.
