people are coming to our sever and boasting about how good they are, they constantly say it after each kill or flag capture, im really tempted to kick them from the server but it seems like an unjust reason to do so what do you the actual public think of such a decision?

Just deliberatly hunt them down then kill them and every time you kill them teabag them then say how good are you then laugh. Theres no need to kick them actually if you kick them your a bit out of order most people dont even read the chat ingame (if your on about ingame voip you can mute them same place you start a vote kick i think).Comment

Make a rule.
No trash talk.
While I'm against adminstered rules in general, a strict no trash talk rule would be fairly easy to inforce. The evidence would be right there in the logs, if any one disputed it.
Make a language with filter with noob, owned, Leet, and other such words in it? I've seen these backfire though, The old "I typed cockpit and got booted" scenario.
I personally think it's a growing trend that is disturbing in our children and our sports figures. Apperently some where along the line "rubbing it in" has become acceptable.
I find it offensive and counterproductive to any community. I try to refrain from it as much as I can.
The only problem is the suppressive feeling your server would give some who like to do such things as form of bonding or initiation. "Breaking Balls" is such a guy thing, and can be fun. There would be no way of truely telling what is freindly ribbing between people, and what is actual abhorrent behavoir. Both are so similar to one another.Comment

If they keep talking they will sooner or later say something offensive. Especially if someone starts to talk back. then kick 'em.
