Ranked losing its fun

I think more ppl have it... there is a moment you play really much to get lots of medals and badges and stuff.. but once you got it .. you just get sick of playing... like me.. I played 250 hours and I have very nice ratios, 170 gold stars and 45000 global points, but now it's just losing it's fun!
Now I am doing nothing else then playing mods and making fun on sir. community server!

I wonder who of you guys have the same...

yea the more i play now the more i felt that way....i'm playing bf2 now just to keep my skills going when 2142 comes out...but then i bet i'll get bored easily too haha

It never was any fun.

Its created a new form of online gaming annoyance in stat padding. Most games I play on appear to have the majority of people running around aimlessly looking for points and not enjoying the team game. I used to love the slow build up assaults on Delta Force and Joint Opps.

I'm surprised no-one has sold their character on ebay yet - or have I missed the boat on that one already?!

Forget about stats - just play the game. I find getting awards much more fun when they come as a complete surprise.

no its much more fun to know u only need 2 hours and 44 more sniper kills to get expert sniper and trying to do it, gradually building up ur points and time as well as ur excitment that u r just about to get it

Ranked is not very fun. Sure you have alot of awards and badges, but if you let the one item dominate your gaming, then you are not having fun.

The Engineer Repair Badge Expert was one of those. I still play BF2 and BF1942 but simply do it for fun, not interested in the rest of the medals as they are not needed for higher ranks.

Figure with 1700 repair points and near 300 hours as engineer ive had enough of it. Not necessarily the game in general.

i agree. btw how is Delta force JO? i played DF2 and DFLW, but stopped because i moved to Medal of honor then BF1942 camealong and changed everything.
