    A few non-related questions

    1. My friend will have a new computer, so he'll make a network with his two comps. We would like to know how could we play bf2 online with the two comp with the same copy of bf2 (same cd-key on each comp). It will be stupid from Dice to make us buy two copies of bf2 for a same person. (imagine the number of copies of a LAN ) just want to know how to do that.

    2. I used to talk with TS which has 3 public servers, so I dont have to pay to buy a server. Does Ventrilo is the same, or you MUST pay to rent or buy a venttrilo server ?

    3. FInally, I've heard that 1.4 is the LAST FINAL patch for bf2, is it real ?

      1) im sure you have to use 2 diffrent cd keys if you wish to play online with both pc's, the reason why i belive is so that everyone in the world does not borrow your or your friends cd-key and just use that.

      2) i havnt got a clue

      3) unknown but a lot of people seem to belive that it will be

You can't play with the same copy at the same time on 2 different computers.

It would be stupid of DICE to not make you buy 2 copies I've been to many lans and trust me everyone has their own copy.

you can EASILY and LEGALLY install the same game on as many computers as you want = all using the same cd key

          BUT >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
even though you might make a different account (ieBF2 GAME NAME) on each computer,
you cannot play on both computers at the same time !
THAT, would be 'illegal' and of course - it would not even work
as the EA account server would detect 2 pings using the same cd key

            EA's gay.

Before, with Starcraft, one cd-key could be applied to a network.

yah, software companies have this thing with "making money" - it being part of whats known as the free market society.... You may not like them, but they have to pay the bills / etc.. 1 copy per machine to play online.

#2 - A lot of bf2 servers have clan related TS/Vent, which you can join and use. Or, depending on your machines, bandwidth, and techincal savvy, you can set up a serer for the 2 of you....

#3 - I'd expect at least one more patch.

You need to have a copy of BF2 and a valid legal CD key for each simultaneously logged in account.
