Does anyone own or played this game?

I saw it on the steam downloader for only 20$ and it looks really cool but Im not sure if I want to get it.

So, anyone got any opinions about it?

Never played it, but it (from what I saw on steam) kind of reminded me of Freelancer, which with a few mods, was a pretty kickass game.

well I had it and sold it on Ebay.
let me get it straight:
a: you need a helluva Rig to run it. Even worse then BF2
b: you need much time to play it. No "I play for 30 Minutes to relax" 4get that.
c: you need Mods to get some Fuction you dont wanna miss.
d: The Storyline is a joke...
e: Starforce Protected. Thats a big NoNo for me. I like my Rig as it is and I dont want to disable some of the software installed to play a game.
f: Its buggy. You NEED Mods to enjoy it.

On the Pro side:
a: Looks good.
b: If you enjoy Trading with deep economics + some Space Combat: Its your game. But keep in mind that you need A LOT time to play it.
c: Looks good.

YEah is AWFul i have x2 and x3 (i fancy a good space sim but im not very good (liek freelancer) and they are relly complicated and you need to put load sand loads of tiem into it x3 you dont even get a tutorial they plop you in there and expect you to know every thing my systems lag the patches do not help its not worth a penny avoid it unless you really want a space/econamy nice idea but it jsut doesnt work. Stick with freelancer

i got it

steam does not have SF
buggs are mostly gone in patch 1.4.3

dont buy in store b/c that vission has SF just buy via steam
and grafix look good storyline suxs but u can do many things

The Steam version does not have Starforce?
Do you have to be online to play it then like HL2?

nah there are ways 2 play it offline or just d/l ***** patch at
