LOL. I love all these "we are being over run with cheaters" comments. While I do not deny the existance of cheaters, I have to say that an all of my hours of playing (and there have been allot of them) I have only ever seen 2 maybe 3 people I really thought were cheating.

Remember, just because someone kills you, doesn't mean they are cheating LMAO. I will buy 2142 and if there are cheaters, I will kill them quickly and quietly like I do all others.

This is exactly how i feel, though i have never seen anyone i thought was immediately a cheater (unliek CS where its clear all the time). SO i could really give a ****. Maybe I'm just too worried about tanks, artilerries, claymores, etc to worry about much less prevalant causes of death.

I bought it on Monday http://www.ebgames.com/default.asp if it sucks it sucks what are you going to do. I have seen more cheats as of late but I guess it is in every online game.

How is it that you want EA to "fix" the cheats? EA is NOT in the business of being an anticheat organization, they publish videogames. If you want to complain about something, at least get the target right. You should have said Punkbuster. They are the ones that are slipping.

Cheaters or not, I am not buying 2142. The problems as of late with BF2, is why I am going to buy quake wars. Its futuristic like 2142, and it is being made by a different company that seems to have more pride in the quality of their game, hence the recent delay on the release.

To be noted, I am not a real PC gamer(never even played a quake game). The first real PC game I have played is BF2. While the game is really fun, CTD and server drops suck. I'm not saying quake wars will not have the same issues, but what the hell I'm gonna roll the dice.

Agreed. If EA/DICE treat BF2 like the latest 1.30 patch...then how long before BF2142 will have a patch like 1.30?

I'm jumping ship and also will be going the Quake Wars route this go around.

Everyday when I see posts like this asking people not to buy 2142, the more I want to buy 2142. Maybe, just maybe, we can finally have a game where all the whiners won't be trolling.

Please, please don't buy 2142 and leave us the fvck alone.

why did they implement punkbuster for? they care some bit, but u cant beat cheaters...theyre like fog...once u think uve got it..theyve moved somewhere else (quote from a bridge too far)
