Cable internet question

Got a question for you guys. I currently have a middle tier cable internet through Cox. I think it is the 5mb level, but due to rising costs of everying under the sun, I may have to downgrade to their "value tier", which is just under 1mb. How bad would the game suffer with internet speeds like that?

i play on 1mb in UK at the minute i get around ping35 on uk servers, and around 150 on USA servers so would proberly be something similar but reversed for you

If you can get 1mb up and 1mb down go for it.

Im 6mb ADSL down and about 700 up. To me I think there is adequate bandwidth for the servers in the game. I would not go below 256 up.

If it was me, I'll drop another outgoing bill before dropping my speeds.
