Okay, I was MEC at Oman and flying the trans helo to go destroy the US arty. All the sudden a bomber jet comes out of the left side of the screen and slams into me. The game says I tk'ed the pilot and co-pilot and one of them punishes me for it. What the f**k!!
Yep nothing new about that. Little kids are the only ones that punish when it isn't deliberate and unfortunatly our Adult rated game is played by quite a lot of them. Get used to it.
It's funny but I've noticed in all air to air collision typcially the person who is at fault is the one who is able to punish. Don't ask me how or why it happens but I just know that it does.
Whenever I've made a mistake and accidentally crashed in to a friendly helicopter or airplane I always get the option to punish. But when a plane slams in to my helicopter or a friendly jet slams in to the side of my jet I'm the one getting punished.

I'm just learning the whole plane-flying thing. Sometimes I Fack up (did I say sometimes?:cry:) and either can't pull up quick enough to avoid someone or hit the thing i'm trying to bomb.
If this happens, I say sorry straight away ALWAYS to the person i've killed, whether on our team or the other. The amount of people who reply that i've done it deliberately is quite astounding to be honest. Surely if someone says sorry then its meant, otherwise why bother? If the player i've accidentally killed is on my own team, I find that mostly they punish then read that i've said sorry, by then its too late. Maybe you just have to live with it
