    Playing over a LAN

    does everyone need their own cd key or can I let my mate use my CD key and disc as Im using mine off a mini image??

    well u need to have diff cd keys i believe, but u can use the same cd image as the cd in the other comp

      in bf1942 you could use 1 cd key for every 2 players (so long as it was local)

      not sure if thats still the case in bf2.

        couple friends of mine who have a LAN setup for BF2 are using individual keys I think..

          Technically, it may be possible to play with one key if you use offline accounts but legally I expect that it's one key, one player (or more precisely, one license purchase per player). CD can be the same image for everyone (many people are in fact using the same downloaded image even for online play).

            each different HUMAN must play with a UNIQUE cd key
