Steering the Missle for the Cobra / Apache?

Guys,

I've having trouble steering the guided missle when I'm a gunner in an attack chopper. I've tried controlling it with the keyboard / mouse and joystick with little luck.

For you expert gunners out there how do you do it? I've seen some crazy missle hits, so I know it's possible.

One time on Wake I saw a gunner sitting on the carrier deck in the chopper just shooting the missle and hitting targets a mile away by steering it, so I know it's possible.

Ok sometimes it fails to record the hit because of the stupid BF2 Hit detection etc. But you don't really aim at the chopper well it's hard to tell but you can make shots as seen in some videos were it looks people don't hit the chopper but they do with normal pings..

For the rest it's just

Practice, Practice and Practice..

And don't forget to use your mouse.. Not the Arrow keys..

all u gotta do is make sure that when you fire it, your crosshair is on the target or close to being on it. And to make adjustments in the missiles coordinates just keep clicking the mouse in the direction you want to send it.
