I got a question! Need help

Okay, i have been playing BF2 for about 6 months now and i was unawair that you needed Special Forces to unlock the L96A1 sniper rifle. I am downloading Special Forces now trew EA downloader.

My question is if i want to get the L96A1 sniper rifle will i have to make a new account? Or will i be able to unlock it in my next rank? ( really soon ) This has been bugging me for a while.

you will not have to make a new account and will be able to unlock it when you get ranked up :)

Well with EA downloader make sure your EA downloader username is the exact same as your BF2 username or else you'll have wierd problems. You can just unlock it in you next rank. Why would you have to make a new acount. SF was out after BF2 so people just used their current acounts.

i cant get ea downloader to work it says there is a problem with the down load service.

OK as soon as i played one round in SF i had THREE! unlocks! And i did not have to make a new account. And Abyss_of_Borg, my Ea downloader account is not the same as my BF2 acount and its working fine... weird.

yeah u get the unlocks automatically after u play a round or 2 in SF

with the risk of turning this into an anti-sniper thread...

i find it hilarious the only weapon you are interested in is the L96A1. probably one of the least interesting of the tier 2 unlocks. but if it's what got you to buy SF, then awesome, sniper wh0res unite on SF and help it grow! find the servers i play on too please, i love more sniper n00bs for the fodder...

the soothing crack of my cockpit window telling me another n00b is at the closest hill/tower/highest spot around waiting to be killed is music to my ears.
