Need Help!

Okay, i have been playing BF2 for about 6 months now and i was unawair that you needed Special Forces to unlock the L96A1 sniper rifle. I am downloading Special Forces now trew EA downloader.

My question is if i want to get the L96A1 sniper rifle will i have to make a new account? Or will i be able to unlock it in my next rank? ( really soon ) This has been bugging me for a while.

no you can just use your battlefield account. you can continue going up in rank where you left of from bf2 vanilla. the sniper you´ll unlock however. Is only playable in vanilla. kind of strange...

Ya it is strange, and THANKS! Just installed SF and cant play it becasue of lighting.fx problem so i unistalled the game and will restart from scratch, hope it works.

NO NO NO NO!!!! save your time dont reinstall all you need to do is repatch to 1.3, everytime you install the sf it will patch to 1.1 and you need 1.3 so repatch to 1.3!

I could not, my patches were ****ed, i installed 1.22 and i could not instal 1.3 after... strange, but it works now.

yes, you can install 1.3 on top of them all, just use the 1.3 full
