DVD Cracked =[ Help!!!

Hi guys, i really need some help here!

Basically i took my BF2 DVD out the drive today to find the disc has a big fat crack on it.

I put it back in but the pc , but it wont recognise it, and it wont boot, i have tried all sorts to make it work, and tried a no-dvd crack but i get kicked by punkbuster.

Basically is there any way i can play BF2 without the DVD??

I know i cant make an image either cause i threw the disc away.

send it back to EA and request a new cd?

and im not sure if its legal but u can download a cd image from the internet and then use that to play

If you still have BF2 files in your pc then burn the files into a CD and you will be fine and then create an image so that it will not happen again.

If u have the BF2:SF disk u can play BF2 or BF2:SF with that

i dont think he can make an image with a cracked dvd...

btw ...is dling those images illegal?

That's a tough one...I'll always recommend making one yourself But what people actually decide to do is their business.

I just always hate making it easy for the non-legit pirate users.

it is legal, and he's using a dvd not a cd so it wouldnt work using a cd image anyways,,

goto Gamecopyworld.com and download the dvd-image of there, you will need a program called deamon tools download and install it will proberly require a restart, just mount the dvd-image with deamon tools and play, the image cuts down on load times quite a bit and is very usefull :)

why would it be considerd illegal if you own a valid copy of the game, ok he doesnt have the dvd anymore but he still has the case/manual/valid key?

ive images of various games for the sheer fact that i dont want to have to keep swapping out cd/dvds all the time where as mounting the image takes perhaps a few seconds and decreases the load times
