Ok i just downloaded the v1.22 - v1.3 patch. When I go to run the install I get a message that says "Cant Find install folder for Battlefield 2" What does this mean and what can I do to fix it? Thanks for any advice.

It means that it cannot find the directory in your system registry. Uninstall and reinstall and try the full 1.3 patch. -

you mean uninstall the patch or the enitre game? I cant uninstall the game because I lost my instruction book with my key code in it

Thats a problem lol.. And yea I mean reinstall the entire game..
This usually happens when you copy a game over to your harddrive rather than install it from the DVD/CD's.
When you install the game using the DVD/CD's it writes the directory to the registry. Then patches look at the reg entry for the location of the game. Perhaps have someone with it installed make a reg file for you so that you can insert the information into your registry. That should work.Comment
