    How do they do it?

I know its a bit of a wierd question; but how do people get to such high ranks in Battlefield 2, without getting completely sick of it!? I love the the game, no dening it, but I was looking at the the ranks today and it was double my battlefield points to get to master sergeant! And then think how much it must be to get to somthing like major! I'm not dissing people who are like at Colonel level, but how the hell did you have the mental stability to get that good!

    And dont just say practice

    It's just time..

Over a whole year of playing, I have about 110K

It's just some people play more or less than others, and some people score less or more than others in the time they do play.

Its just a matter of time. I dont fly planes or helicopters but I can usually average about 100 points plus an hour. You do the math and see that means 10 hours will give you 1000 - play 10 hours a day like a lot of these high ranked people must have and you get there. I'm jealous - wish I could find the time to play more often!

I see....Its so frustrating though, so desprately trying to get that one weopon unlock you really want! Would you recomend getting the expansion packs, to add more life and "new fire" to the game?

time in service compared time in real life, that is the question --- and the answer.

i love this game, but whenever i start getting bored, i switch my tactics. instead of groundpounding, il play only maps that have helis, and be a heli whore for a few games/days/weeks. then maybe il try flying in a jet. then everntually ilgo back to groundpounding.

the key to having fun with bf2 is to change ur gaming style every once and a while. try something new, and trust me, ul never get bored

most people who are hgihg ranking either share accounts or have statpadded or went to a knife only server. but not all have done it some just get a j-10 and go to 24/7 wake. It depends if you are a good pilot you will gain points about 25x as fast as infantry. but if you go to mpas where they make it 64 man on 16 player maps you can get points there easier since you dont have to hunt for an enemy.

dont get mentally locked into the ranking system. just enjoy the game play.. get as good as you can focus on that. just cos you have a high rank dos"nt mean you a good player. develop some tactics & find the sweet spots in the maps stick with one class that your comfortable
with & develop your play from there.
