Screen Lag?..It Must Be! .. ?

Hey Guys, I can play BF2 on all High in single player at a resolution of 1280X1024

Plays extreemly smoothly and very beautiful: "No screen lag".

I keep these settings and enter a Multiplayer server, my ping is between 10-15 so very nice there...But i have immense amounts of screen lag.

I can spin around quickly as it will "clog-up" .. im trying to work out wether it is screen lag or a prob wif my internet connection..or perhaps the anti-virus ive got running??

GeForce 6600
160GB HDD
Running Norton 2006

Any ideas as to why i get screen lag only in Multiplayer and runs perfect in all high on single player???

Check your FPS while playing online and also lowering your settings will help your fps. Also try shutting your AV while playing since it HUGS resources badly, may be your screen response time is high but i dont think so.

I don't think that card can handle 1280x1024 on all high...

Try lowering dynamic lights and shadows first...followed by textures. You may have to lower res to 1024x768.

Online is a LOT more taxing on your system.

ALWAYS turn off AV software when playing online if you're looking for good performance.
