Well I may have to force myself to like it, but in all the fps games I've ever played, I always come back to general grunting. It's the most challenging and fun thing for me.

Correction, 4-star is earned @ 1,000,000 points, not 800,000

why do you keep posting in this topic when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about ??

why where there about 4 promotions to 4 stars 3 days ago
they clearly did not have 1,000,000 points

why do they have the stupid pointless time requirements for rank advancement?...i have nearly 200,000 points but need 1440 hours played to get 3 star Lieutenant General and i only have 880 hours played.

what do they want me to do...idle in the servers to get my play time up?....play longer hours but not score so many points??

what i think sux as leki pointed out, all those really pure top class players that have uber awesome SPM's won't make the top ranks because they will have too many points in too little time. also i thin kthe leaderboard shouldn't be on points but should be on rank.

First, plz work on your english so that we can better understand u. In answer to your question, the high ranks need a certain number of hours of play to get promoted. I refer to here: http://ubar.bf2s.com/ranks.php Scroll down to the Generals and you'll see.

You both need to work on your English if you can't understand him.

I agree, guys that just point whore, & remain colonels because they didn't work on the requirements for general should be ranked below brigadier generals no matter how many points they earn

This really isnt a serious issue. Few players will ever get to General, because of the time it takes. Whats wierd is why EA would make the system like this.

I use Bf2s.com, BF2Player, & BF2Tracker

BF2Player is the only one I use that has updated there site to clearly show what you need to earn your 4th star

It seems to me that the Bf2s link you provided describes the criteria for the temporary monthly award (in a very unclear manner)

But a big THX for the gameslave link

I don't have all the answers, I am merely sharing what seems to be the "latest, & greatest" info I have found

What is the criteria for the rating to get on the leaderboard?
