Installation Problem

My installation keeps stopping at whidata0.htm located in the help files somewhere. This is my fourth set of discs, every other set had the same problem. I've tried almost every thing on the EA support site, plus manual installation.

EDIT: For some uknown reason, the install worked, but it took 5 or so hours and it's 10:00, go figure

But now I get to patch

Have you tryed re-installing windows incase there is a corrupt file on your HDD?

No, I haven't, but that's my last resort.

reinstall ur whole comp from scratch again then install bf2. See if that works

Well currently the installer is working, but at an INCREDIBELLY SLOW pace. It's being runing for three hours and it's finaly past my trouble point, but on to another whidata0.htm file so my fingures are crossed that by 10:00 I'll be playing
