Get accurate i recomend playing with friends in a server that hasnt started everyone sniping at eachother you get good or die.
All these tactics things are BS if you cant figure out a good place to snipe without someone telling you than your an idiot.Comment

I'm not too sure about that... When I'm sniping those are the first places I look. I generaly find that the second platform you climb to (the one after the really short ladder) on the construction cranes offers a better position because most people look at the top of the crane for snipers.
The high ground isn't always the best place. I've had some really good rounds on maps like Dragon Valley hiding UNDER a bridge... I've even had enemy armour parked on top of me. Hardly anyone ever looks down for snipers...

my favorite area is inside the bunker by the airfield overlooking the chinese arty on wake. its not exactly a stealthy spot, infact its pretty conspicuous. however it provides great cover and while all of the dumb enemies are rushing the airfield from the beach (which is bound to happen in almost any wake round) u can rack up a ton of kills before u are discovered.Comment

1. Aim for the head
2. always booby trap the ladder you just climbed
3. Remember there is slight bullet drop once you get out to 200+ meters or so with the sniper rifles
4. In close quarters if you hit enemy with sniper one time already, dont wait to try to hit em with it again....whip out your pistol
5. Grass is not good cover
6. Mashtuur city is sniper heaven

one more reason i cant wait to unlock the l96a1. what i find strange is that even though it fires the ultra-high velocity .50 caliber round u have to compensate for bullet drop more than u have to with the M24 or L96a1.Originally posted by drunken sailor

I'd have to say any place that is high is usually a bad place to snipe because most people have a reaction to look up right away, if your gunna snipe stay down low in places where people dont expect a sniper to be and learn to crawl alot if you wanna take that class a little more serious than alot of people do. And about the M95 its a great gun if you can use it right but i like it the way it is because if it was really accurate sniping would be too easyComment
