Meritorious Service Medal & Medal of Valor

Looking at the awards, expert badges and medals now almost all of them seem obtainable. But I still have problem with two of them:

Meritorious Service Medal

* 250h total time played
* 5,000 driver special ability points
* 1,000 flag defense points
* 30,000 team points

Medal of Valor

* 250h total time played
* 1,000 heals
* 1,000 repair points
* 1,000 resupply points

How can you get 30.000 teamwork points / 1000 repair points in reasonable time??

The reason people still play BF2 is to get those medals, if EA made them easy noone would keep on playing

How can you get 30.000 teamwork points / 1000 repair points in reasonable time??

for teamwork, medic revives, flag caps and driver assists (be a pilot and have a gunner get alot of kills) are the fastest way imo.

for repairs, drive around as engineer on warlord. I was able to get 5-15 repairs average per round, plus it gives you transport hrs.

Ride around in armor. I average 20 Kill assists a round trying for crew ribbion in SF.

I dont expect to ever see 15,000 more teamwork points that is simply too much.

Maybe they will nerf it down like they did with the Navy Cross, Golden Scimatar, and PLA Medal thing.

those 2 medals would have to be the hardest to get i would say one becuase who can get 1,000 repair points only a person that repairs anything that needs it. and 30,000 is pretty dang hard to get but possble just go to a pistol round and revive the whole time. harddest thing for me is repair and flag defend but over time you can eventualy get them :) :) :) :)

30K teamwork points isn't hard, just med whore.

Repair points is pretty hard. My bud ThomasMorgan has the Medal of Valor:

they are not really 'hard to get'. its just a matter of playing time.

Seeing how you just got expert repair (which is 20 repairs in a round) you should be able to get it in under 50 rounds. Less than a week at that rate.

I still need the expert repair. Since the 1.3 patch the most repair points that I have received in any one round has been 14. I had 23 twice on 1.22, but that was when you needed 25 repair points.

For your repairs to get your Meritorious Service medal, you need to spend some more time on the ground. Though it shows that you have over 100 hours as engineer, it looks like most of that was in the air. Out of 253 hours of vehicle use, 185 of that is in the air.

Spend more time on the ground as engineer to get your repair points. Start armor whoring. Just squad up with other armor users and stick together.

It just takes time to get those two medals.

Heck, look at what it takes for the Distinguished Service medal. Unless you can command for 100 hours, you will never get it. I still only have 46 hours as commander cause it is so boring. But, I do have both of the medals that you started this post about. It just takes time.

I was extremly lucky since the enemy commander kept dropping cars on our artiallery... dont think will happen ever again.

Yeah, I thought about the Distinguished Service medal but realized that I dont like to command that much. While commanding I usualy go sniper, hide on top of a tall building or something and surprise some inf. players :)
Yeah, it takes time... I think I will wait for the next patch if they will nerf any requiremants (armor badge is still 100/400 hours) and see what I can do.
