what does auto adjust mean on a monitor i planning on buying an lcd monitor with auto adjust but i am not sure what it means

auto adjust means it sets the monitor automatically if you are using an analogue connection. It places the screen and focus and colour correct automatically for you. If you will be using the monitor on a digital DVi connection then auto adjust will become redundant and you will use monitor scaling to fine tune your screen.
