    Anti aliasing question

I have a Nvidia 6600 GT OC, and have anti aliasing at 2x, and antisotropic filtering at 2x on hardware.

Question is, how do i run 2xq in bf2? Do i set the ingame setting to 4x, or 2x, to get the 2xq performance?

Also, for the texture filtering in game, how high should i set the 6600 GT antitropic filtering to, to get medium settings? For texture filtering medium, should the 6600gt be set to 4x?

    Re: Anti aliasing question

I had the 6600GT and personally i do not believe that card is capable of running high levels of AA. The 6600's only have a 128 bit memory interface which isnt enough.

Are you setting all of these in the NVidia control panel? If so it is best to leave these as application controlled and allow BF2 to control it. If you set things in the NVidia controll panel it will over ride any seeting you make in BF2.

What frames per second have you been getting?

Yeah, problem is in game BF2 only has 2x and 4x as options, not 2xq.
