If there was a way not to care I would.

Personally I think the stats system is in a shambles which should make me me care even less about a statspadding, but that's not the case here.

It affects me as a "normal" player because he's using a vehicle a good majority of the entire round for questinable practices. It's certainly not helping the team with it being in the drink the whole time.

It's bad enough having some one on your team running around with a sniper rifle when he should be arming himself with AT because he's going for some badge or somthing. That I can tolerate. It's only temporary, and in some limiting way he's still at least attempting to contribute to the team.

But this clown is using a valuable peice of equipment for his own personal gain.

Ok, I'm not irate about it, and I probably wouldn't care very much, but if the incentive wasn't there for this type of thing a majority of this wouldn't happen.

So my team goes without a vehicle for a good portion of the round so this douchewhistle can see a number next to a category in his stats change? How gives a **** if it changes if you have to do something like that to change it? That's what I will never understand about statpadders. It's like cheating on the BAR exam and then boasting your an attorney. Don't you know when you look in the mirror in the morning that your not? Doesn't he know that he's not nearly as good an engineer as others who have acheived the same points through the normal course of game play?

It's sort of a subculture, an underground alternate way of playing "Hey check it out, if you do X in a Y you'll get Z points". I just can't see that as being more fun, challenging , or rewarding as just playing the darn game. There's a whole battle going on with all kinds of things to do and achieve, and he's satisified with sitting in a Vodnik at in a river? Maybe he's got MS or something, and that's all he's capable of doing physically.

The more I think about the more irate I get. Best not to think about it at all.

There is Knife and Pistol servers all over the place.
EA doesn't care, unless you are both stat-padding and hacking, then they will Ban your Cd-Key.

if you look at his stats you will see he was doing it 2 get his meritorious service medal. (he only went to little over a 1000 repairs) its still lame, but he probably got his last 20 repairs this way. probalby couldnt wait a day longer. HAHAH

Camping is a legit tactic for most of the time.. its just that people exploit it and just do it over and over for really no reason.. the best reason to do it is if you are helping out your team while they are capping the flag or advancing

After all, the absolute best way to avoid getting spawn raped is by not spawning at all. (Or spawn at a different flag / squad leader)

I can see taking your OWN stats seriously... but the obsession with OTHER peoples stats confuses the hell out of me.
