    Re: Snipers--->>>Teamwork

    How exactly can snipers team play? They can't heal, they can't revive, and they [aren't supposed to] get into close combat with their claymores. So how do they help your team?

    They go behind or near enemy lines and generally make them selves a pain the *** for the enemy. They don't capture flags, they KILL enemies.
    Firstly have u even read the other replies becuz if u looked it stated how they work as a team.

    Secondly ill answer it aswell and the sniper do teamwork by shooting enemies and lowering them to 1 or 2 bars so ur own team can easily kill them. They also spot the most hostile thing on the game like a tank.

    Snipers can get into close combat if they want. That is why they have the knife and pistol and grenades.

    What u out here (They go behind or near enemy lines and generally make them selves a pain the *** for the enemy.) Thats the point of snipers aswell and what they are ment to do.

    Snipers can capture flags!

    I aint moaning at u or anything but u made some bad point about snipers that are not true.

      Re: Snipers--->>>Teamwork

      Well I play sniper more than any other kit. I usually select a kit that will be useful to the squad, team.
      Any sniper worth his salt can tell you that the most useful thing that he can do is spot everything that he sees thats on the enemy team. Even if its going to be an easy kill for me I still spot it so my team doesnt walk blindly into a death trap. (ever turn the corner and stand faceing armor and certin death, spoting prevents this) Yes I get the kill assists but I feel spotting is the most useful thing that a sniper does.
      The second most useful thing is giving alerts on in progress flag capture by the enemy. Such as putting the word "Hotel" in text chat. That means that the hotel is being captured by a group of enemy and it will be hard for a single soldier to stop them. So the best option is to go close to the flag and wait for the enemy to leave or untill help arrives. At least this is my take on being sniper, feel free to ask any questions I know one of us here can give a useful answer. Good Luck. . . . . . .Red

        Errr, Think before you speak. Assault dont heal or revive. Anti tank dont heal or revive. Specops dont heal or revive. Those kits arnt useless.:hmm:

        And yes, they do kill enemy's, which reduces the enemy's tickets, which helps your team win.:|:

          I love doing this

          SVD/Type88 are the best to do these

          But I use L85 for the same purpose sometimes

            An effective sniper can help the team/squad by defending a flag and spottng enemies. I think the majority of people dissing snipers have problems with claymore spamming snipers, because the claymore is hella effective. Sometimes I will find too many snipers on certain maps (wake anyone?), but even then its still something you must adapt to and conquer. Each class has its pros and cons, just as everyone has their own preference for kits they play. In my experience, the best teams always have a good mix of classes (kits) and they move in tandem working towards the WIN rather than individual awards, medals or stats.
