cannot get mic to work

My mic has always worked now no one can hear me. I can hear them and I see the green speaker icon come on the screen when I hit the voip button but nothing goes through. Any ideas? please

dumb question but, did you make sure you can record in just windows? go to start>programs>accessories>entertainment>sound recorder and see if you can record yourself there.

Make sure your mic volume is turned up in both windows sound settings and BF2.

I have the same problem and its really annoying. It worked and now i cant talk to anyone. The only sound that goes through is my breathing lol.

That sounds like your MIC is set to record only, or its set up to be too sensitive.

did u test ur mic in the audio part of options?
