    i have a problem

    ...I dont know weather i should be very angry at the game or at myself....

    I have a computer, Specs:

    -P4 3.0GHZ Processor
    -2GB Ram
    -160GB Sata
    -GeForce 6600 Graphics

    I installed BF2 on the comp, it run: and played nice. Turn comp off, go back on it a day later: wont run: starts then screen flashes black then goes back to desktop.

    Please note, i do have Special Forces disc but it wouldnt install patch, it would say "patching" and nothing happens ..(after at least 25 mins)..so i gave it enough time for sure.

    I heard perhaps i need to get an update onto the origional BF2 then install SF..

    Guys really, im going mental here: Please point em in the right direction, do i need new Graphics drivers...new BF2 update...new Graphics card!!??

    Any help would be desired deeply!

      Hmm it wouldnt seem you need a new card, as you already played with what you have. Same goes for drivers I suppose. But when the screen flashes black and reverts back to the desktop it does have something to do with graphics or video. I remember I tested BF2 on my old pc that clearly didnt have enough video capacity for it, and the black screen flash thing happened. Hmm.. did anything happen that would have jerked the video card or anything internal out of place? You could open it up and check to see if its in the slot completly. Hmm other than that im not that sure.

                      The entire forums IS a support section for the hundreds of people struggling with BF2 v1.3 now.

                      Next time ask the man some questions or at least offer him some help.

                      Have you tried to join other servers which you think are "Good" servers?

                      What about blowing dust out of that case?
