In the Heli's, what is the circle that seems to represent nothing when taking off and I think when hovering soemtimes. It moves around then slides out of the cockpit HUD.

I think it indicates a perfect hover. Even out the chopper to 35 percent throttle and put it in a hover. -

I think its supposed to be used for pilots to hover, having the floating circle around your crosshair (if it can be called that in a chopper) means your in a perfect hover. Personally I've never used it, because I can hover choppers without it, and hovering for extended times is just plan stupid.Comment

Ok, thanks for the answers. I don't even think it's neccesary to hover perfectly in this game. And if you do there is probably a jet turning around ready to take you out, or another heli setting his gunner up for an easy TV.Comment
