Any word on 1.4 fixing the commander xploits? (pics included)

I'm seeing more and more idiots using this damn xploit/cheat. I hope This is gonna be fixed in the upcoming patch.



ps Is there anyway to figure out who is doing it? (no, it is not only the commander that can do it)

Nothing much you can do to see who is doing this sort of thing. All you can do is to report to BFROE and Punkbuster showing them the screen shot. They will be aware of it. Just stupid that so many people use cheats but what they don't know is that once a cheat is removed it still affects the game programme hence when PB gets a new update they will be ban and will no longer use the game on line. Which is funny :laugh:

I have herd from reliable sources that this commander hack will not work in 1.4.

However during beta testing I believe I saw the effect of someone trying to get said commander hack to work (however unsuccessfully) in a UK Beta server.

I agree, Hackers and the Scirpt Kiddies are the worst of scum.

Turn off your Hacks and join the real gammers. You will find more enjoyment in the game. If you have to hack to compete find another game. Or play single player on the lowest AI level. That will be about your skill.

We have this happen to us on our server twice in 2 days.

First time, we actually banned the commander, thinking it was him (he's now since been unband).

Second time one of our own clan members was the commander, we also have screen shots, but it only shows the same things we have already seen.

I knew nothing of this hack/glitch/cheat what ever it is, until we saw it on our server, i just wish there was a way to find out who it was that did it, so if we see it again, we are going to screen dump the players list, dont think it will help tho.

Jesus, as if we dont have enough things to worry about with this buggy arse stupid game, what with the server crashes (costing us around £160 ish per month) and now this ****ing ****.

I recall a thread 2 days ago, where people were yelling at me, saying that the COmmander hack was so rare, its nothing to worry about. Even though I see all the time.
Eventually the information on how to do this will be posted, and it will get 100 times worse. As it is now, its fairly bad. It might even be posted now, i dont know, as it seems to get worse every day.
Again, on a side note.......typcially speaking, this hack can be and is included with a bundle of hacks..........whats included?
No Fog.
Anti Recoil < can you imagine how deadly this would be?
Anti Bullet Spread < ahhhh this and the above? Wow....ownzored!
Aimbot< supposedly made even better now and closer to counterstrikes bot.
Full Enemy Radar< Yes there is uav, but having this would really rock. Plane whores love this hack.
And, even more stuff, like neon green and thermal colored soldiers, making the enemy stand out like mad.
WireFrame houseing so you can see the whole battlefield.
And more........lots more, all with one simple download. 20 hacks within one hack basically.
Chances are......if your seeing the commander hack.......you also are seeing someone with all the above hacks as well.
That said........
Some of you guys still think that hacks are not widely used in bf2? Give me a break. Its getting bad now........wait a month or two and it'll be really bad.

Yes, I saw that hack last night and wondered wtf was going on. I was being carpet bombed with cartillery, as well as being instantly killed every time I left cover. Don't remember what server it was on, some clan with "Punks" in the name and a rude server greeting. Needless to say, I left shortly after seeing 30 vehicles dropped in 30 seconds.

I remember on Warlord I was waiting with my RPk at the top of the TV station stairs, ready to kill anyone trying to get in. Well what happened was that this corporal, I think, used the F2000 the whole round. I am betting he had the aimbot hack turned on but not anti recoil or anti bullet spread, because he would get off maybe 2-3 shots, and one of them would be right onto my head. I was actually nestled quite comfortably half behind the pole, so I doubt that that was true. Most BF2 players go for the torso knowing you will die quicker from a sure 4 shots there than a 1 out of 4 chance of a shot in the head.

When someone ran this cheat/exploit or what ever it is on our server, our commander was recording the whole thing using fraps, ive now got the evidence to show who did it.

The 2 real commanders i actually know, one is a clan member the other is a regular in our server, but the guy who was using the glitch/hack captured a flag, and his name showed up as he captured it in yellow like how a commanders name would show when capturing a flag.

Anyways, the real reason for this post is, Now what do i do with the footage, can someone help me with this, coz i want this ****er banned.

Whenever somoene captures a flag when you are in commander screem it will appear yellow. Seen it all the time

This is not something for a patch to fix, this is something that PunkBuster needs to work on. The next patch is said to be almost all optimizations and the new map. Besides how you you think they could fix this with a patch? Nerf the buggies?

This is beyond typical cartillery. Dropping 100 buggies in 2 minutes is a little much, don't you think? Anyway, there are already like 15 threads about this, the problem is known and all we can really do is wait.

Yeah my lil sis was on her clans server and she took screenshots of all the vodniks, humvees, and supply crates...she mentioned that she would get a connection error before that would happen.
