    Screenshot?

    Hello All,

Just a quick question on screenshots, and yes I have already perused the forum for previous posts. In the controls for BF2 it states to take a screenshot simply press printscreen. However, how does one access the actual image/screenshot. I am aware that if you open any image dialog you can paste the image, in contrast, can you only take one screenshot at a time? If I take multiple screenshots in BF2 will only the most current capture be generated?

    Thanks Guys,
    BF2TankWhore

    Re: Screenshot?

once you've setup your screenshot button in your controls, every screenshot you take will be saved in "\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Screenshots\"
you get 2 of every screenshot. one in .jpg and one in .png.

Just if you were unaware, the PNG one is of better quality but bigger file size. Each has their own uses.

              Re: Screenshot?

Is there a way to disable the JPEG conversion? Whenever I take a screenshot, I get a 1 to 2 second freeze. I'm assuming this is caused by the CPU needed for JPEG compression. Having the uncompressed PNGs are good enough. If I need to upload screenshots to the web, I can do my own compression.

                            Re: Screenshot?

Under EA Games\Battlefield 2 I did not have a folder called Screenshots. I created one after I couldn't get my game to create one when I push print screen. After I push print screen, I still do not get screenshots. I made sure that my controls are set to capture a screenshot when I push print screen, but it doesn't seem to work. Please help! Thanks.
