True there may be some honest people out there but how do u know they dont stat pad all day?Its not as if u can go there and say stop

Thanxs to EA this game is all about points and being the best,I think clans know this best.Anyway there are a few clans i know of that would hack it.

Anyone can apply for a lisence to run a ranked server. Since they are pricey things, you want to get a group of people together to share the costs. What is that word most people use to describe a group of players?

Oh yeah... they call 'em "clans".

This is why most privetly run ranked servers are clan based.

HOWEVER, just because it's clan run doesn't mean that they are exempt for the ROE. Breaching the ROE even on your own server and (and often does) result in stats wipeage. You cannot kick people just because they are not part of your clan under those terms either, so you are still open to public scrutany.

Contant violations of the ROE on your own server can (and does) result in the lisence being revoked... Ie, you can't run a ranked server anymore.
Ask TOP about that one.

I have been to some servers and they kick you in 3 seconds and ban you because (makes me suspicious)

And how exactly would MyIS do that? Do you know what it even is? It's a hosting company that hosts this forum and the total network.

If it wasn't for clans there would be a lot less servers around to play on. If you don't like a server, find one more to your taste.

The MAJORITY of clans are clean, but there is always the rotten egg who do use their ranked server for statpadding.

i dont give a **** about stats or ranks or whatever. i just want my unlocks to better control my battlefield environment, so do the guys under my command. if we had a server, sure we would statpad from time to time, but we dont even have one anyway so it really doesnt matter.

Im not so sure if I understand your point. They are servers like the ones you play on now. Have you read the thread with the details on it? I've never been on a server where they kick and ban you in 3 seconds for what you call Exaggerations aside, they are servers like all the ones you've always played on. You ahve no reason to be suspicious, just keep your aluminium hat on nice and snug and everything should be alright

EA is not giving anything to anyone. MYIS is sponsoring 100 clans, there is a HUGE difference.

Don't even know where to start, the author is so far off from right on this one. I'd say 95% of clans do a decent job of policing their server, keeping haxors / asshats out, and weeding any cheaters out from their own ranks.

There are the usual gay rules, but clans are what drive and support online gaming, period. Without clan support, competitive play, most games would loose developer interest and die out.
