You can definitely ride the UAV, i've done it. The best way is to bail from a BH onto it.....it's kinda boring though unless you're a sniper. There's a video on YouTube showing a guy doing it.

If you use the commander hack (not that I have) and you put a bunch of UAVs on the same spot they push each other down so they fall out of the sky. To land on tanks and other things. The things are huge.
