In all my hours of BF2 I have yet to seen a hacker.

Not to condone hacking....but most hackers that get past PB and into the ranks you'll never know about. : / it's sad. Do what i do and just pretend that there are no hackers and you have the same chance of killing as everyone else. Makes the game more fun that way. Most of the hacks I've seen lately have been Wall Hacks and such on Karkand and a couple other maps. If they want to hide in buildings that's fine.....they're just afraid.

I was just about to look for a link for that vid. Nice catch, BTW.

And yes, this really is a hack. It's not a glitch or something that "just happens". For some reason they left a client side vunerability in commander timers.

It's not a new hack, just the next generation of a old one.

The good news is a little birdy told me that Even Balance has figured out how to scan for this hack and is basicly just letting people move into the roach motel before the flip the switch and do some mass Hardware bans.

go to the wake island 64 insomnia server its full of hackers i think they shut it down since the cartilery incident yesterday. ahh photobucket sized it down

all insomnia servers are full of hackers...cause there are no admins there.

It's funny for a little while, but it get's old fast.

These examples aren't even the worst I've seen...

Imagine that used carlot falling from the sky mixed in with endless artillery. Man... chaos. Cars getting nailed mid-air via the constant rain of falling shells, burning hulks flying randomly, and killer lag impossed by too damned much going on at the same time.

This will always be the way of on-line games until such a time as the human race manages to find enlightenment and desides to stop treating eachother like pricks 90% of the time (and actively screwing each other over for 9%).

In other words, that ain't gonna happen so it's best to just get used to it.

The hack is all thanks to DICE not properly sealing the commander functions up(you would think dice ran checks on commander command option packets if their right or not). Thus the reason theres also an bug allowing you to use the commander menu to zoom when not commander. lol

Yeah definitly, if something looks challenging, people will attempt it. Declare you can not pass, someone will bolt past you haha. Build a bigger wall, and they'll build a bigger ladder, just to annoy you. Eye for an eye is human nature
