the demotion was for the days of the sergeant major of the corps.

whne someone else received the rank the othter one got 'demoted' back to a sergeant major. as for ur idea bout PFC it would be interesting to know.

If you got enough negative points, wouldn't it be possible to have less points than your rank, and therefore be below it? Like if you just became Private First Class but then spent a whole round TKing, would you go back to private?

If you got enough negative points, wouldn't it be possible to have less points than your rank, and therefore be below it? Like if you just became Private First Class but then spent a whole round TKing, would you go back to private?

you can never lose points towards your global score, so there are no demotions. only when you get your stats reset, do you get demoted.

No you don't get demoted when your stats are reset. They just disappear and you start all over again. I think it is with Sergeant Major of the Corps.
