    CD key invalid?

after installing the 1.3 patch whenever i go to join a server it says invalid cd key
    i read a fix here: http://gotfrag.com/bf/forums/thread/159264/
tried it about 3 times with no luck.

im thinking it might have something to do with the fact that ive been entering the bf2 key and i have SF installed, is there a seperete place to enter the SF key?
HELP! i just wanna play BF2!

try the cd fix in the bf2 files, and you dont need a key fior SF its tied to your bf2

not sure but i think hes talking about a program in
          C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Support
called battlefield 2_code.exe where it lets u enter ur cd key as if u were reinstalling it

            Try this m8:

            Click Start.
            Go to Run.
Type regedit and hit OK button.
Click on plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Click on plus sign next to SOFTWARE.
Double click on Electronic Arts folder.
Double click on EA Games folder.
Double click on Battlefield 2 folder.
            Double click on ergc folder.
Data displayed will probably have x9392 only.
Right click on it and select Modify.
Type in x9392 and then your CD key.
            note: don’t include hyphens.

Example: x9392(your Battlefield 2 CD key here)

Try calling EA customer service and they might just give you a new CD key. Worked for me.

You do NOT use the dashes.
