Is it possible to change the way you fire the tv missle? I tried changeing the alternate fire under helos to the letter N "getting rid of its function to zoom the map" and loaded into my own server to test it but it didnt work.

I just think it would be easier to redirect the missle with a key on the keyboard and just useing the mouse to guide it. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Nope, you can change the keys, but the B&W Screen and mouse direct will be the same.

You can change the tv fire and guide button...

To change the guide button you have to open your controls.con and look under:

ControlMap.create defaultGameControlMap
...
...
...
...
ControlMap.addButtonToTriggerMapping c_GIOk IDFMouse IDButton_0 0 0
...
...
...

and change that as well...

You might be able to use the arrow keys or even a joystick. Try using joytokey

why would you want to do that....at most you should only click a tv 3 times. Most of mine are the initial fire click, and then one redirect click to lock it in..

Thanx for the ideas!

As far as why I would want to do it...not being in a clan and not haveing a regular pilot, I end up having pilots who dont understand the tv missle line-up differences and i find myself really having to make the missle move ALOT 90% of the time. Thus making me miss alot. So i just figured it would be easier to do it with the keyboard.

Does anyone know if it is possible to invert the mouse control for the TV missile? I looked through that file, but I did not see anything about inverting the mouse in the helicopter section.

I know a lot of people will ask "why do you invert your mouse?" But I have been playing that way since the first FPS that included mouselook (quake 1 I think, but I could be wrong. It was a long time ago.) Plus, I am old and you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

...but you're not actually flying the missle. You're placing the crosshair on the target, and adjusting it accordingly.... by re-clicking the mouse on the target.
You're just along for the ride. Right?
