I'd buy BF2142, but im still kind of warey about it, I mean with the ****E yes ****e patches being released especially the last one with all these crashes in it, I can rarely get a good game of BF2 going without the server crashing or something, how can I be certain that the first patch out for 2142 doesn't mess up the whole game or something.

I think it is a good reminder of where we are at, and where things have come from. I wish the creator had taken more time to note how extremely unstable 1942 was after its release, and even after a couple patches.

I loved the note implying it was the Mod community that got DiCE/EA the money to go forward with more projects. Did not mention how much they left the mod community out in the cold though.

i ahve said it once and i will say it again. dont judge BF2142 untill you have actually played it. im am planning on playing the demo and if i like it i will be getting the game. there are no other games other than gears of war that i want this year, thats assuming gears of war is coming out this year. it sucks that quake wars isnt coming out till next year because i was looking forward to the game around my birthday.

what are you triyng to say???? quoting a bunch of different sources which all contradict each other proves nothing.

Battlefield wouldnt be this popular if it sucked.....

if people buy the game, then it must be fun.

There are GOOD GAMES out there, that arent popular because they are too buggy....

Battlefield is not one of these games..... its a mass-multiplayer game with some bugs.... all mass multiplayer games have bugs.

Some more than others.

My gripe with EA is the amount of expansions they release which are un-neccessary. Each expansion splits up the community and the amount of servers making the game smaller and smaller.... stop it already. leave the games alone, and stop splitting up the severs.

It was kind of a cool video, a trip down memory lane if you will. The song was almost perfectly timed too. But, I almost fell asleep. Let's face it, there are problems with the game yes, but are they so bad that they keep us away from playing it? No. When I crash to desktop, I say **** and then restart it. Why? Because BF2 is a good game, regardless of the problems that it has. It has cool elements like the ranks and squads that make it fun to keep playing. I think it would be one of the greatest PC games of all time if it didn't have all the problems with it.

Cant really understand why you are calling this whining, I mean is it whining when people ask for a raise, is it whining when we are pissed at gas prices? I guess people just like to strap whining onto anything they dont agree with.

LOL, I like the gas example, because there are truths to that statement most people don't know. There is actually an over abundance of crude oil in america. But it is speculation in the market that is causing the price per barrel to go up. Most people think it is because there is a shortage, or China/India are using more...nope, it is because energy stock prices are going up and up, and with it, so does the price per barrel. So really, is it whining when there is truth to getting this resolved so we can all collectively go forward on a better foot, with a better product?

Agreed, but if my memory servers me right, it got stable after the first year, and was enjoyable to play. bf2 is over a year old and it's still a BETA with a bug list that’s only growing.

At least in bf1942 they didn’t butcher the game play like we’re witnessing in bf2, which by the way all thanks to the pub scrubs whining to “level the playing field”. Instead they (EA/DICE) focused on solving the bug and balance issues, and that’s what they should be focusing on.

IMO the video was very well put together, and provides FACTS about the bf series. Bravo

Speaks plainly and for the most part tells the truth. Of-course those whom like nerfs and like to call everyone else whiners but themselves will disagree.

I think it's been called whining just because everybody has said what needs to be said (even though DICE & EA haven't listened).
