I played both for about a week to two after I got them. Don't play them anymore though. So for me, no.

It depends how much you play BF2. They are not bad, but not better than vanilla. Theres only a few EF servers and a lot more AF.

EF is actually pretty good. If it had more maps, it would make a great booster pack. The community did not give it much of a chance, because everyone and their brother want a CS style game. EF lives up to the roots of BF series. If you ever played BF42-DC, then you could put EF maps in their realm. It is worth it if you like a certain style of game play and are willing to put up with only having 5-10 servers worldwide offering game play.

AF is very nice, but again, you need to consider what kind of player you are. If you are a vehicle intensive person, this is definitely the path to take first.

I wish more people would go back and give EF a second look. It is actually a great game, and the weapon platforms are excellent. I hope DiCE comes out with more maps for EF because I would pay $5-10 for them.

EF is kind of dull!! I have not purchased the AF yet, for that reason. The extra vehiles do not seem to be worth the expense IMHO. The only reason I bought EF is because my favorite servers started to carry EF maps and I got booted everytime one came up in the rotation.....major pain in the butt!! AF servers are pretty abundant but my favorite servers have not jumped on the AF band wagon yet, but if they do, then I will probably break down and buy AF too. LOL

no because servers dont play all 3 playing 3 mpas over and over gets boring but i think they are both good.

not worth the money....download USI mod, it's a lot of fun and a lot more new content, and they're adding more for their next release. there are even more, bigger mods coming out pretty soon such as DCon, POE2 and FH2.. check out their websites. best of all THEY"RE ALL FOR FREE

Don't get them... not worth it and there are hardly any servers that play. Get good mods like USI, CQB, PR and upcoming ones, they are usually better.
