PLEASE, please put more then Ghost Town and Warlord on the server.

A good rotation is Warlord, Ghost Town, Surge, Mass Destruction, Night Flight. Toss in Iron Gator if you like but I think the above list would be sufficient. All of these 24/7 Warlord/Ghost Town servers are getting out of hand.

Hello All;

This is [TEC]Wolf_Holic here, I am just posting this and again thanking all for your wonderful input on what maps to run our SF server.

At this time, we at [TEC]Squad.ca have given permission to our fellow Clan CDN3RD Infantry(www.canadian3rdinfantry.ca) the use our server ( 64.34.240.83 ) to see whether they should put up a server of their own.

At the end of their trail period which is Monday Aug 7/06 we will put up the SF server once again..

So let's go and play with the CDN3RD Infantry boys and show our support for a bunch of wonderful guys.

lol yeah i just got sf but my fav lvl is warlord... of corse i aslo like nightflight which only 1 server was running it (an ea server) lol and those are my favorite levels.... so either one

Hello All;

This is [TEC]Wolf_Holic, Founder/Leader of [TEC]Squad and I do appreciate all the wonderful feed back from all here at TotalBF2.

As the Doc says, we are now running all S/F maps on our other server, right now I get a 30 ping, and the server is out of chicago and our provider is Branzone.com

Everyone is invited to come check it out, because I do think this will stay from now on a S/F server as opposed to our Karkand server.

Also just a foot note, as of Friday we will be lending out the server on a trial basis to CDN3RD Infantry. They are thinking of setting up shop, and I thought it would be a good idea to help them out..and get started again..

ya we started the server on a night map and waited like a hour and very few had joined switch it over to ghost and within 10 minutes had a game going :) so were thinkin maybe stick with day maps :laugh: but the lag should be real low you guys think 32 or 64 map size ?

Yeah, day maps are more popular than night maps. Out of the 100 populated servers I saw today, only 2 had night maps running at the time.:laugh: Also, I prefer 64 player size over 32.:)

Personally, I always avoid any server that says "24/7 Anything" - that's just boring boring boring. And I get to have a smoke during map changes...

SF Day maps seem to be a popular mix - Warlord (already sick of it), Surge, Ghost, and even the Iron Gator. Don't leave out Surge - it really can be a festival of death. And Ghost Town really can bring out some good gameplay. It's probably my favorite hands-down.

I don't mind the SF night maps at all, but in them, I'm more likely to go as Commander. I get a little spooked out at night.

ok well we have our SF server up and runing full map rotation 3 rounds a map @ 64.34.240.83 port 16567 any suggestions would be great we have it at 64 player map size for now but if people want it we can drop down to 32 you can also make comments and suggestions are www.tecsquad.ca on our forums we would still like to see more map feedback etc. just trying to do our part to keep SF alive

make sure that ghost town, warlord and iron gator are in the rotation. the iron gator has to be the most underrated map in the game imo.
