Well, I have never had any problems with EA downloader. I agree it might not be the best piece of software to distribute games out there, but it does the job.
What I do not like, and really makes me regret purchases of SF, AF and EF through EA downloader is that there is a limit of 10 times of which you can download these expansion packs..
I still remember when they released SF. The MODS on the official EA games forums were crying that you could redownload this game any time you wanted after for example a hard drive format.
This was all a lie, apperantly it says this in the fine print of the license agreement. But who reads those anyway?
I've payed just as much for SF as someone did who got a hardcopy for it. So I demand that I ( as promised by official EA employees ) can re-download my copy of this game, any time I want.
Are the thinking that everyone who buys games through EA download will back it up to disc? There isnt even a guide delivered with the program which tells you this, and the games are stored in weird places which I could imagine noobs not being able to find.
I feel cheated again, by EA... I won't be using EA downloader ever again.
