C4 Kill mystery

I may be slow to realize this and it's probably old news but, I was wondering why my c4 count wasn't going up as I was getting c4 kills. Turns out If you blow up a tank you get the kill but it's not a c4 kill. What kinda crap is that. I blow up a vehicle with c4 and I essentially according to the game killed them with their own vehicle.

So consider your c4 kill ratio to be about as accurate as as a bling girl playing hopscotch.

Thats because

A) You put a stick of C4 on a 3/4th burned vehicle and you get them on fire and the vehicle explodes therefor you kill them with the vehicle
(Something along the lines of that)

B) You put 2 sticks it explodes kills him and the burning thingy kills his teammate there for 1 C4 kill and 1 Vehicle kill

its some bug with the kill recording. always happens. i even got road kills as a camping sniper before. simply becos i shot the driver out of the vehicle.

i dont think its a bug............here is what happens....

The guy in the tank hits E and exits the tank, knowing he is toast. Now, it could be almost at the exact time you blow the tank up.......however what happens is you did in fact blow up the tank. However your C4 in effect did not kill him...........the exploding tank, the one your blowing up, killed him. Thus you killed him with the tank. Sound reasonable?
