Ok, I am playing Bf2 and I set claymores around the spot im camping, and some guy knifes me and gets away. How did he do this without setting off my claymores?

Yes you can jump over them. Normally only you or your teammates set them off then you get punished for it.Comment

can you disarm claymores with engeneer?
ive tried it on stairs and its not that easy to get close enough but not set them off.

u can disarm anything but c4 with wrench its suefull but none kbnows how to do it. whenever i paly i see like 32 engies looking at a mine cuz they dont want to past itComment

i know a tip but dont tell no one else...if you go prone next to the clay you want to evade and crawl kinda under it there is a 50% chance you will survive, i've done it.Originally posted by EZIK1ELComment

There is a blast radius/window too...if they see it early enough they can go around that radius/window. Be sure you're placing the claymore so it's facing normal as I've seen some facing to the ground which is obviously not effective.Comment

Engineers can disable claymores. You just have to prone and slowly crawl towards it until you are able to use the wrench. If you get too close, you might just blow up.
If you figure out which way the claymore is facing, you can get by it easily. That's why you might see people walk by a claymore and not get killed by it.
Also, the claymore has a load time. That means the explosive won't activate the instant you set it.
If you're playing on a map with helicopters or planes, players can parachute out and land near your camping spot, avoiding the claymore.
If you're playing a server with friendly fire turned on, players can C4 launch themselves near your camping spot, also avoiding the claymore.
Maybe someone sacrificed themselves to destroy the claymore, and the next guy came in to stab you.
Maybe you were sniping and the bad guy popped around your blind spot for the kill. You just didn't see him...
Maybe it was a teammate who killed you. Allies do not set off claymores now.

But he wouldnt know it was a knife that killed him, if it was friendly. Also, claymores have a detanation radius of about 60 degrees. Hence forth you can come from the side to disarm them.Originally posted by PluckyX24Comment

Hacks cannot change health, change weapon strength, make you invulnerable, etc. Health/location is calculated server-side. Weapon strength CAN be changed in the .tweak files but PunkBuster will kick you if the files are anything other than what PB is told is "ok".Comment
