Right now, its possible for DICE to make flares work as single-shot thingies, with 5 flares in a magazine. Question is, would it work? With 6 missiles, which are uber-good, I say the semi-auto system would actually work well, provided that the reload time will be increased (right now- 28+2 seconds) and flares catch the "eye" of the missiles, so to speak.
