BF2142 is not even out yet and you are already saying thats full of bugs

I say, give it a shot. Let BF2142 to prove itself before you put it up against the wall and shoot it. QW could might as well be a disaster.

And you don't even know how QW gonna be regarding gameplay. From what I've heard the weapons in QW are somewhat powerfull and might turn out to be unbalanced.

The number of players might decrease when BF2142 comes out and when QW comes out, but I don't think its going to be the death of BF2.

I have high hopes for both

I think BF2 is alright how it is now, some things shouldn't've been nerfed but oh well. I think 2142 will pan out nicely since EA/Dice have experience with BF2 issues and won't be repeating them. EA/Dice recognized their mistakes in BF2 and are going to fix them in 2142.


As for Quake Wars, I'm very excited for that. It looks great

IF QUAKE WARS DOES NOT SUPPORT 64+ PLAYERS, THEN QUAKE WARS WILL SUX !!!!

sorry for screaming..I really am looking forward to quakewars enemy territory..but any battlefield requires at least 50 people for it to be descent, IMO. I dont want to be in a huge landscape looking for one kill..that is that Ghost recon and CS:S is for.

They already said it will be 32 players....

halo is pretty over rated anyways. most halo fan boys are ppl who never played a good fps on a pc :laugh:

Thats why I always 0wn proclaimed "Halo Pros." Your right many of those guys haven't played an FPS on the comp.

as i said in another post i will be getting bf 2142 on the day it comes out, and wil not even look at quake wars ....People who say that they won't be buying the game becoz of the bugs (it aint even out yet, and so what if there are a few bugs, theres problems with every game ffs....


If you want a perfect game with no bugs in it, go play ping pong

well tbh im sick of how the bf series has been ruined, and after playing the original et and reading previews and seeing how QW is gonna be for us the players and not for the publisher then i can assume that its gonna be great

already wins on the graphics side - and if even half the gameplay ideas i read about are in the final version then itll beat BF-GiveEA$ *cough i mean bf2142

I'm definitely looking forward to ArmA. I have to say ET:QW will be the first multiplayer game im getting with aliens as a side, however I am looking forwards to the mods for ET:QW because they will run over anything modders will be able to produce in 2142

I'll wait for the demos. Once the demos are out, it will give us all a better idea of what to really expect from the graphics, gameplay, and overall level of refinement.

I won't dismiss either game yet, since I have yet to play either of them. I do think that Frontlines will turn out to be a sleeper hit.

As far as armed assault, some of the graphics look really nice from the screenshots. However, this is not enough to win me over on that game yet. There are a couple of screenshots that just look weird, the player models. I don't know what it is but it's just weird.

unlike EA there not in it just for the money they actually want to produce good games.

When I talk about a good game im not just talking about the gameplay or graphics but the coding, general support and support for mods. BF2 is a decent game but it had the potential so be something much better unfortunately EA just wanted it out the door to fast, and there mod support is virtualy non-existent.
