So i was playing battlefield 2 and then i spotted a sniper but from my view he was in the air but he was prone anyway i took screenshots so you could see it.

Yeh I see it all the time, just a bug in the layout design I think.

its just another one of those things you can call a glitch that EA has. Can u beleave it? a glitch on one of EAs game? naaaaa impossible

Looks like he's lying on the sandbag wall, or whatever that wall is made out of (mud bricks?). Anyway, the wall on which he is lying didn't render/draw, so it looks like he's floating. That's just my guess.

It's the 'melting terrain effect' that is a trademark of Battlefield 2.

As you walked closer to the sniper, you'd see the terrain 'melt' into the corrent place.

No, you havn't got a good graphics card, or your settings are wound down a bit.

This happens on all graphics cards I have used to play BF2...

Yeah must admit mine draws the terrain as I get closer depending on the amount of other players and ping things and the map. Other days it works great then some days you might as well pack up and go to bed.

someting about THAT spot
when some one gets in it they are HARD to KILL
we had 1 tank with gunner and 2 APC could not kill him there - till we drove rightup close

I dunno, I just blast the backwall with shells and it kills them most of the time.

i get this on big maps when i can see an enemy start to fire but just cant kill him. then as i get closer i find out there behind a container doh
