Yes go buy 2142, give Ea $50 more of your hard earned money to play a buggy, laggy, unpolished, unbalanced product that there will be no support for once Ea comes up with a new moneymaker. Then when you get angry about it you can make more posts on the Total2142 forum and the cycle continues on and on. You play 2142, maybe the fools will go to that leaving the old 1942 left on mods for Bf2.

Yes we will and is there a problem with that. And uhh unless your a future teller how can you say it will be buggy, unpilished, or unbalanced when its not even out yet. Laggy? Maybe your computer just sucks. I'm sure they have learned their lesson with their support they gave to BF2 hence with all the beta testing that they are doing with patch 1.4. If they have learned anything from BF2 this could turn out to be a very big hit. Only problem I see is that it would be a resource hog and require a really good computer to run.

Well, I don't really support EA beta-test release strategy - however, I need something to test my new AMD dual-core 2Gb RAM BFG 7900GTX-rig with..lol. I consider BF2142 a 50$ investment in a test-program.

u cant know Sh!t about buggs and that stuff EA/Dice said that it would be less buggy as Bf2 so only we can hope thats true but dont give crappy comment B/C u dont have play it so u vant say its buggy and laggy

Based on feedback from the Battlefield 2 community we've expanded the unlock system in 2142. The new system includes 40 unlockable items spread evenly between each of the 4 classes and general soldier unlocks. For example, there is the IT-33 Optical Camouflage device which can be unlocked by the Recon soldier to make himself blend into the environment or the FRG-1 Fragmentation Grenade available as an unlock for any soldier. Though a soldier must choose a select few of his unlocks to equip via the new Kit Customization system, each unlock helps strengthen the role of the class.

this game is well deserved from the community of bf2. they could have sat back and waiting 3 or 4 yrs and sent out crap like vietnam. but the went over board with this. and we have to say ty. and the future of the community looks bright. i mean guys look what happened to the tribes community tv was a big disapointment of the tribes series. on graphics it was great. on game play with more than 16 in a server sucked.

My god, you people are flat out sad. It is the exact same engine, same bugs, same lag. I run the game just fine, however compared to other games with the same or better graphics it is an unoptimized POS. If you people honestly believe that EA cares about the product they are putting out, will try hard to beta test it, and make it better I fear that you are wrong. I'm not making these points because I simply don't want to buy the game, I'm making them because if nieve people like you continue to shill out $50 on whatever Ea pumps out then we will continue along a downhill slope.
